Google reviews and private feedback for cafés and restaurants

Guests should be able to leave a Google review from their own phone, and an unhappy guest should be able to tell you before it ends up online. Foodians does both, with no rewards and no filtering.

Private feedback

Guests tell you what went wrong directly, with a photo if they like, before it ends up on Google. Low ratings email you instantly so you can fix it while they're still there.

Google reviews

A Google review button for every guest, at the table and on their own phone – never tied to stamps or rewards. Your rating and review count are tracked daily, so you can follow the trend.

Private feedback, straight to you

On the guest page a guest can give a rating, choose what it's about – food, service, speed, price, cleanliness or atmosphere – write a few lines and attach a photo. It lands in your inbox in the dashboard, not in public. Low ratings are emailed to you right away, so you can deal with it while the guest is still there.

The Google button is there for everyone

The “Leave a review on Google” button is on the guest page for every guest, whatever rating they gave, and opens Google on the guest's own phone. After private feedback every guest is also asked whether they'd like to post a public review – the same question for everyone.

What Foodians never does

Google's rules ban rewarded reviews, asking only happy customers and pressuring guests to review while on the premises. Foodians is built around those rules, and the terms of service forbid venues from tying reviews to rewards.

  • No stamps, discounts or rewards in exchange for reviews.
  • No filtering: unhappy guests see the same Google button as happy ones.
  • No tablet or kiosk in the venue and no pressure from staff.
  • No copy asking for five stars.

Follow your rating over time

Foodians fetches your Google rating and review count every day and shows the trend in the dashboard and the weekly report. You see when something changes, next to the feedback that came in that week.

Why not just a review plaque?

An NFC plaque that only links to Google often costs around 500 kr and does one thing. A Foodians table stand costs about 200 kr and gives the guest the stamp card, menu and Wi‑Fi as well – and a way to tell you first.
